PRIMEPEOPLE GmbH once again ranked among Germany’s best personnel consultancies for 2018 by WirtschaftsWoche magazine

In its latest personnel consultancy ranking (in German), WirtschaftsWoche not only honored the year’s most reputable headhunters but also identified the leading lights rising above the crowd in IT and digitization. 

This marks the third time that Christel Gade, Professor at the International University of Applied Sciences Bad Honnef - Bonn, has compiled a ranking of the most acclaimed headhunters in Germany. An expert in the field of personnel consulting, she devised a corresponding questionnaire that was completed by 1,400 HR decision-makers at German companies between July and October. Having answered questions on a range of topics such as their level of satisfaction with their headhunters, respondents were ultimately asked to award stars for good or outstanding service – and only the very best recruiters made the final cut.

The results are a vivid demonstration of how the industry is evolving. Having previously been dominated by high-profile names like Egon Zehnder, Heidrick & Struggles, and Kienbaum, the list now features a growing collection of newcomers such as PRIMEPEOPLE. We are absolutely thrilled with this development, as we stand to benefit significantly from the major ongoing shift toward digitization and have set out our stall accordingly. Now that digitization has entered almost every branch of the economy and is already a fixture at all levels of management, companies are increasingly looking to recruit experts with corresponding skill sets. A study conducted this spring by the market research institute GfK as part of a commission from the consulting firm Etventure provided further evidence of this trend, with 62 per cent of decision-makers surveyed confirming that digital transformation was one of their top three most important corporate goals. And while 68 per cent stated that the Managing Director or CEO was responsible for this process, some 46 per cent reported that they wanted to recruit more digital experts.
